Central Oregon toy drive delivers thousands of gifts to local kids

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- A Central Oregon toy drive is spreading holiday cheer to hundreds of families this season and the effort is still growing.

Organizers say they’ve already purchased more than $8,500 worth of toys and began handing them out on December 8. So far, more than 2,000 toys have been delivered to about 800 local children, with another 4,000 gifts ready to go out in the coming days.

The program continues to expand, now featuring 150 drop‑off locations across the region where residents can donate new, unwrapped toys.

Organizers say the community’s response has been overwhelming, and their goal is to make sure every child in Central Oregon has a gift to unwrap this holiday season.
