Quiet pattern as we wrap up 2025

KTVZ-TV

Good Monday Morning!

We’re wrapping up the year with a dry and sunny pattern. A ridge of high pressure will keep our skies mostly clear until at least Wednesday.

You can expect mostly sunny conditions with light winds today. Highs will top out in the low to middle 40s during the afternoon.

Tuesday stays dry as the ridge of high pressure remains in place. Highs will be in the mid 40s.

Wednesday will be another mild day for us as highs reach the upper 40s to low 50s. High pressure will begin to break down as an area of low pressure spins off the California coast. This will result in increasing clouds.

If you’re going out to celebrate New Year’s Eve, conditions will be partly cloudy and chilly with temps in the mid 30s.

Thursday marks the start of 2026, with a slight chance for light rain. Highs in the 50s keep this system warm enough for rain, not snow.
