Last weekend of winter starts out chilly, much warmer “spring-like” week ahead

Rain showers are likely before dawn but should end by early this morning. A few lingering showers are possible into mid-morning, but partial clearing is expected. Highs today will top out in the upper 40s. Winds are likely to gust near 25 mph at times through the day under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday temperatures rise into the 50s under mostly sunny skies, but clouds move in as the day moves along which will keep the temps from hitting the 60s. Still warmer than today, but not as warm as what we expect Monday. We begin a much warmer pattern moving forward into the last few days of winter 2025-26.

High temperatures reach the 70s on Monday and will remain in the 70s all week.

The Vernal Equinox occurs this week, officially kicking off the Astronomical Spring on the 20th.
