Cooler temperatures today, light mountain snow

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - A cold front brings cooler temperatures midweek, with highs only reaching the 50s today.

Light snow showers are expected this afternoon and will stay confined to the mountains. The High Desert could see some lingering precipitation, but skies will be clearing Wednesday.

A dry pattern returns Thursday as high pressure returns to the region. It will be a chilly start, with overnight lows dropping into the teens and 20s.

Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 50s, which is right around normal for late March.

Temperatures warm back into the 60s on Friday, with 70s returning for the weekend. It may feel more like June than March. If you’re planning to spend time outside soon, conditions are looking good!

Highs climb back into the mid 60s Monday before cooling slightly into the upper 50s Tuesday. Both days bring a chance for rain, but Tuesday currently looks more likely to see off and on rain.
