Decision 2026: Your questions, their answers – Deschutes County commissioner candidates meet voters Monday

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Your questions will be answered directly by candidates for Deschutes County Commissioner positions during a forum held by The League of Women Voters of Deschutes County.

It takes place on Monday, April 20, at the Deschutes County Service Building, Sawyer Room, 1300 NW Wall Street, Bend.

Questions should be emailed to questions@lwvdeschutes.org up to 48 hours before the forum.

The event is divided into two distinct sessions. The first session, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., will feature candidates for Position one and Position three.

Candidates for the four-year term Position 1 include Jamie Collins, Tony DeBone and Brooke West. Candidates for the four-year term Position three are Charles W. Baer, Gary Campbell, Lauren Connally, Samuel Facey, Amanda Page and Amy Sabbadini.

The second session is scheduled from 6:45 to Seven:45 p.m. This portion will focus on candidates for Position four and Position five. Rick Russell and Chet Wamboldt are running for the two-year term Position four. Candidates for the two-year term Position five include Ron Boozell, Rob Imhoff, Jennifer Letz and Morgan Schmidt.

Community members are invited to submit questions for the candidates in advance.

The League of Women Voters of Deschutes County encourages concise, relevant, issue-focused, non-partisan, and open-ended questions that apply to all candidates.
