BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Cross-country runner Noah Coughlan made a stop in Central Oregon this week, meeting with local sheriff’s deputies as he continues his nationwide run honoring the American flag and supporting law enforcement.

This final journey will cover 5,500 miles across 20 states. Coughlan's expedition serves as a tribute to the American spirit and aims to highlight stories of the 350 million American citizens. He has previously crossed 36 states, with 14 states remaining to fulfill his overall cross-country objective.

During his time in Central Oregon, Deschutes County Sheriff Deputies and Canine Delta accompanied Coughlan. Canine Delta was pictured wearing glasses during their appearance.

Coughlan is now headed to Lincoln City and is scheduled to finish in Hawaii on July 4, 2026.
