Organ donor advocate and Ride4Life founder, Max Orsini, aims for Guinness World Record

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) Max Orsini, a two-time organ recipient and founder of the charity Ride Four Life Northwest, announced today his plan to attempt a Guinness World Record. Next year, Orsini will try to achieve the longest recorded trip with a motorcycle sidecar across Central Oregon. His goal is to raise awareness for organ donation.

Orsini travels throughout Central Oregon on a Russian motorcycle with his Italian poodle, Gnocchi, to discuss organ donation. As a two-time organ recipient, he is passionate about encouraging others to become donors and initiate conversations with their families.

Max Orsini was honored today by his employer, Kendal of Bend. He used the occasion as a platform for other organ recipients and families of donors to share their stories. The event aimed to encourage people to consider becoming organ donors and to start conversations about organ donation with their families.

Orsini, founder of the Ride Four Life Northwest charity, shared his personal motivation for advocating organ donation. "For me... Just the, the opportunity of sharing my experience with somebody else already fulfilled all my goals. If I can save one life, that's my goal," Orsini said.

Several sponsors attended the party, including Begoat Energy Drinks, Street Dog Hero and Cascade Brewing. Cascade Brewing created a special Italian Pizler in Orsini's honor, which is being sold to benefit Ride Four Life Northwest.

More information about Orsini, his motorcycle, Gnocchi, or organ donation is available on his website, ride FOR LIFE NORTHWEST.

Orsini's Guinness World Record attempt for the longest motorcycle sidecar trip is scheduled for next year.
