BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Bend Park & Recreation District will host its "Live Well, Age Well" Expo on Tuesday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Pavilion, 1001 SW Bradbury Way. This free community event focuses on promoting health and longevity.

The expo, which is the district's annual wellness fair, is open to the public. More than 50 health and wellness providers will be in attendance, offering various services and resources. Attendees can also enjoy a free community BBQ lunch and a live musical performance.

The event aims to provide a fun-filled day while emphasizing individual well-being and access to health information.

A free community BBQ lunch is scheduled to begin at noon. The Bend Ukulele Group will provide live entertainment with a performance from noon to 1 p.m.

The expo will feature numerous free health services. These include blood pressure checks, grip strength testing, 15-minute exercise classes, balance assessments and hearing evaluations. Mobile dental care will also be available.

Beyond direct health services, attendees can find community resources, raffles and giveaways. Cooking demonstrations will also be part of the event.

Support services for veterans will be offered. Information on senior living and home health care options, as well as medical insurance specialists, will be accessible to visitors.

The "Live Well, Age Well" Expo is presented by St. Charles Health System, Whispering Winds Retirement and PacificSource Medicare.

The Pavilion is located on Bend's west side and provides free parking for all attendees.
