Madras City Council to confirm Brenda Fahey as new city administrator

MADRAS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Madras City Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday night to confirm Brenda Fahey as the new City Administrator.

Fahey currently serves as assistant city manager and human resources director for the City of The Dalles. Her confirmation follows a months-long hiring process.

Before her role in The Dalles, Fahey held various positions with the City of Portland. The extensive hiring process also included public input, gathered during a community meet and greet.

KTVZ's Spencer Sacks will provide a full report following the meeting for KTVZ news at 10 p.m. on Fox and for KTVZ news at 11 p.m.
