Warm pattern continues Wednesday

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Expect another warm day across the region Wednesday, with highs topping out in the low to upper 80s. We could see some gusty winds develop by the afternoon.

While dry weather is expected for most areas, there is a very slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the mountains.

A major pattern change is on the way late this week, with cooler weather and rain moving back into the forecast.

Skies turn cloudy on Thursday, with showers developing late in the day and continuing into Friday. Highs will begin cooling, bringing us back into the upper 70s to 80s.

Highs drop into the low 70s on Friday, with even cooler temperatures arriving for the weekend. Expect afternoon highs in the low to mid 60s.

Friday will bring periods of light rain to the region. A few showers may linger into Saturday as the cooler pattern settles in. By Sunday, rain chances decrease, with any lingering showers likely confined to the mountains.
