This Just In: No Carnival Rides at Jefferson County Fair

MADRAS, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Jefferson County Fair Board announced on Monday, this year's fair will not feature carnival rides. The fair's carnival operator informed the fair board that due to a lack of employees, they would not be able to attend this year's event. The fair board posted a video on Monday informing the public of the issue. The fair board tried to find another carnival operator and have not been successful.

The fair is not canceled and will still be held July 22nd - 25th.
