BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Mt. Bachelor has opened Trailhead Lodge, a new 70-room hotel and community gathering space located at 19221 SW Century Drive in Bend, Ore.

The lodge is positioned as a basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts and year-round adventure, offering reservations for summer.

Situated on six acres against the Deschutes National Forest, Trailhead Lodge is designed to extend the outdoor lifestyle and community of Central Oregon.

The property is located 10 minutes from downtown Bend and 20 minutes from Mt. Bachelor, making it accessible to both urban amenities and mountain recreation.

Trailhead Lodge includes a cafe and bar, encouraging non-overnight guests to visit for coffee, baked goods, beer, wine and light fare.

The newly transformed space reflects Mt. Bachelor's ongoing commitment to creating memorable outdoor experiences that bring people together and highlight the diverse recreation opportunities in Central Oregon.

John Merriman, president and general manager of Mt. Bachelor, emphasized the lodge's role in the region. “We're looking forward to welcoming visitors and locals alike,” Merriman said. “It's more than just a lodging property, it's an extension of the outdoor lifestyle and community here in Central Oregon.”
