Memorial Service and Procession Planned for Redmond Firefighter Michael Kienzle

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Redmond Fire & Rescue will hold a memorial service for Firefighter/Paramedic Michael Kienzle on July 11 at 11 a.m. at the Deschutes County Fairground Events Center.

The service is open to the public and will also be live streamed.

The service will honor Firefighter/Paramedic Kienzle. Community members are invited to attend the memorial service or observe a family escort procession, which will begin moving at approximately 10 a.m. along 6th Street and Highway 97.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made in honor of Firefighter/Paramedic Kienzle to the Redmond Firefighter's Foundation, the Corvallis Firefighter's Foundation and the Obliteride Team Kienzle Fundraiser. The Obliteride Team Kienzle Fundraiser supports Dr. Cassiday's T-Cell ALL cancer research.
