Bend North 12u All Stars will represent Oregon in the Northwest Region tournament

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- The Bend North 12U All-Stars are headed to San Bernardino, California, this week to compete in the Little League Northwest Regional Tournament after an impressive run through district and state play.

Bend North earned its spot at regionals by going undefeated in both the District 5 and Oregon State tournaments, continuing a dominant summer on the diamond. The team is the first Bend North 12U squad to advance to the Northwest Regional since 2024.

Before departing, the All-Stars held one of their final practice at Summit High School, putting the finishing touches on their preparation before facing the top teams from across the Northwest.

With district and state championships already in hand, Bend North now has one goal remaining: win the Northwest Regional and earn a berth in the Little League World Series.

The Little League Northwest Regional Tournament is scheduled for Aug. 8-13 in San Bernardino, California, where Bend North will compete against the top teams from across the region for a chance to advance to the Little League World Series.

A trip to Williamsport would be a historic accomplishment. Only one baseball Little League team from Central Oregon has ever reached the Little League World Series, accomplishing the feat in 2016. Bend North now has the opportunity to become just the second team from the region to do so.
