Near normal temperatures, showers possible closer to the weekend

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Temperatures will be slightly cooler today with most areas topping out in the low 80s. Expect mostly sunny skies today with breezy northwest winds developing by the afternoon.

We are seeing improvements with the early morning air quality. Smoke looks light to moderate through the majority of Wednesday, but it could worsen later tonight.

Overnight lows will dip into the 30s and 40s overnight.

Thursday begins with mostly clear skies but clouds will increase by the afternoon and evening. The Tri-Counties are expected to stay dry with isolated shower and storm chances staying mainly over the mountains.

Highs will be in the low 80s on Thursday before the mid 80s return Friday.

There is a chance for showers on Friday and Saturday, but not much rain may make it to the ground. It will stay warm over the weekend with high temperatures in the upper 80s.

Highs will be in the mid 80s on Monday with partly cloudy skies. Skies will turn mostly cloudy by Tuesday with temperatures in the low 80s.
