(CNN) — Fueled by a boom in artificial intelligence, San Francisco is quickly becoming the hottest housing market in the country.

In the last few months, home prices and asking rents have shot higher in the city as tech workers flush with cash flood the area’s housing market.

San Francisco home prices are growing at their fastest pace in nearly a decade, with the median home selling for $1.7 million, according to Redfin.

The frenzy has spilled over into the rental market, as well. One-bedroom rents are up nearly 23% and two-bedroom rents are up nearly 26% since last year, according to rental marketplace Zumper. Are you being priced out?
