JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Back to school season in Jefferson County is just a week away, and teachers are working hard to prepare so that the county’s students can flourish in the new academic year.

Teaching staff have started district wide training, unit planning, and professional development.

Alongside that, they are focusing on collaborative meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page.

It’s a busy time to be a teacher, but these educators can’t wait to get started.
