Warm Weather Continues Before Cooler Temperatures Return

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Howdy all, and happy Monday! Central Oregon is in for a warm stretch of weather over the next few days, with dry conditions and highs reaching the mid-80s through Friday. That's about 15 degrees warmer than what's typical for this time of year, which is going to feel quite warm as we head into the first full week of October!

Winds will generally stay light through Thursday, although some locally breezy conditions are possible today. Still, the combo of high pressure and mostly clear skies will keep the warm and dry weather around.

We do expect some changes to return by the weekend, with cooler temperatures expected to return the region. Highs will drop back closer to average (in the mid 60s) this weekend, with a few chances for showers, especially in the mountains.

For now, enjoy the summer-like warmth while it lasts! Take care, and check back here for the latest weather updates across Central Oregon.
