Warm and dry for the next few days

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Happy Tuesday everyone!

The warm and dry pattern will continue through the work week as a ridge of high pressure impacts the West.

You might need a jacket this morning, but short sleeves should feel comfortable this afternoon as highs rise into the low to mid 80s.

Overnight lows will dip into the 40s under clear skies.

Wednesday and Thursday will bring more sunshine and summer-like warmth, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Typical highs for early October are in the upper 60s for Central Oregon.

Enjoy the warm weather while its here! We will end the stretch of 80-degree days on Friday before a cooler pattern sets in.

A trough moving in from the Gulf of Alaska will bring cooler temperatures and breezier winds heading into the weekend. Rain chances remain low, with showers most likely over the mountains.

Highs will fall into the mid 60s Saturday, bringing us closer to normal for this time of year.

Sunday and Monday will feel much more like fall, with highs in the low 50s and a slight chance of showers.
