Chilly Monday with rain, unsettled pattern this week

KTVZ-TV

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Central Oregon is entering a cooler, unsettled pattern this week.

Get ready for a chilly Monday, with highs staying mostly in the 40s. Scattered showers will move through today, but rainfall amounts will remain on the lighter side.

If you’re traveling over the mountain passes, be prepared for slick roads and some accumulating snow, especially at higher elevations. Check road conditions and cameras before heading out, and make sure your car is ready for winter weather.

Overnight lows will fall into the 20s and 30s under mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday highs will stay near the upper 40s, with fewer showers and some breaks of sunshine.

Temperatures will be similar as we head into Wednesday and Thursday, but rain chances look low both days.

Temperatures will be even cooler near the end of the week.

By Friday, high temperatures will dip to the mid 40s. Similar temperatures are expected through the weekend. Shower chances are possible, but most of the rain and snow will stay up in the mountains as the persistent wet pattern continues.

Have a great Monday!
