The Big Playback: Top plays; Bend High volleyball sweeps Summit; other scores

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- TOP PLAYS; Last week’s winner? Summit’s Cade Nitzchke with what might be the catch of the year! He hauls it in off the defender’s back — are you kidding me?! A play so nice, we have to see it twice! Congratulations, Cade!

Now, onto this week’s nominees, and the Mountain View Cougars are taking over!

Our first nominee comes on the opening play of the game. The Cougars pull out the trick play, as running back Ryder Carpenter launches a deep ball to Krew Harrison! What a way to set the tone!

Nominee number two — more trickery from Mountain View! This time, Harrison is the one throwing, firing a sidearm pass off the reverse to Brayden MacRostie, who takes it to the house! The Cougars were having some fun out there!

And our final nominee? A game-sealing defensive gem! The pass is tipped, and Ryder Carpenter comes down with the interception to put the finishing touches on a huge night for the Cougars, who were forcing turnovers left and right!
