‘Central Oregon Veterans Village’ hopes to break ground in the fall

The Bend Heroes Foundation and Central Oregon Veterans Outreach are teaming up with city and state officials to create community housing for veterans.

COVID-19 set back the projects development by about two months. The project is still going through city of Bend's planning and approval process.

NewsChannel 21's Jordan Williams spoke with the president of the Bend Heroes Foundation to get more details about the Veterans Village.
