Area volunteers play critical role in Brattain Fire effort

The High Desert Rangeland Fire Protection Association recently signed an article of cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service. That led to volunteers with local knowledge being brought to the front lines of the Brattain Fire in Lake County that threatened the town of Paisley.
