Mostly sunny; average temps

-GOOD - MORNING, EVERYONE...

A few clouds will push into Central Oregon, but we will not see any showers. Under mostly sunny skies, highs will reach the mid 70's, pretty average for this time of year, and NW winds will pick up to a gentle 5-10 mph. Skies will become partly cloudy tonight. After a gusty evening, breezes will become light and variable. Overnight lows will range from freezing at the upper elevations to the mid 40's.

As our overnight lows continue to cool down, more autumn colors will appear. Our peak colors should be from the second to the fourth weeks of October.

Expect to be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 70's again Tuesday. Lows will be in the low 30's to mid 40's Tuesday night. Skies will become mostly cloudy Wednesday and the rain is expected to begin Wednesday night. Showers will continue through Friday evening and taper off by midnight. With the rain, colder air will settle in, and we will see highs only reach the low to mid 60's Thursday and Friday. A nice weekend will follow. Look for plenty of sunshine Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the low 70's Saturday and then climb to around 80 Sunday.
