Rain and snow on the way

Happy Wednesday, Central Oregon!

Enjoy these mostly clear skies and above-average temperatures while they last, because starting Thursday, that is all going to change.

Another system is making its way into the region, which has a 40% chance at bringing rain showers Thursday morning.

Then, overnight Thursday into Friday, with forecast lows dropping, La Pine and Sisters have a good chance at seeing snow added to the mix. That chance for snow essentially sticks in those two cities through next Tuesday at least.

As for the rest of us, chances for snow are limited to just Friday and Saturday night, when forecast lows could fall into the low 20s and teens.
