Group again offers free holiday gift-wrapping
Donations help C.O. chapter of Oregon Equestrian Trails
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Free gift wrapping for the community is being offered again through Dec. 24, from noon to 6 p.m. daily, with extended hours closer to Christmas, at the Bend River Promenade, near Macy's.
The public is welcome to bring their gifts to our location, drop them off, then, do more shopping, enjoy lunch or dinner at their favorite restaurant, or enjoy a movie and we will call, when their gifts are ready for pick-up.
We will happily wrap any gift, from anywhere, for any occasion.
This is a major fundraiser for the Central Oregon chapter of Oregon Equestrian Trails, a statewide equestrian group that works with the Forest Service, BLM and State park officials, as well as other trail user groups, to clear, sign and maintain public trails on public lands while supporting good legislation, good trail user practices like "leave no trace" and user group conflict resolution.
We welcome all donations from the community, to help us continue our work on public lands.
