SHARC puts user survey online
The new Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center (SHARC) saw more than 228,000 visits this summer. Now managers of the $18 million facility are inviting those who visited SHARC to participate in an online survey to help identify improvements that can be made.
“We hope that the online survey will provide us with valuable data and user observations that will assist us in evaluating and adjusting SHARC’s high season operations plan,” said Hugh Palcic, assistant general manager of the Sunriver Owners Association. “We encourage all users to participate in this effort to make their experience at SHARC even better in 2013.”
The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SunriverRecSurvey
It will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete the mostly multiple choice questions covering recreation facilities, staff and programming. There are numerous comment opportunities for more lengthy responses.
SHARC’s outdoor aquatics, including two waterslides, lazy river and large recreational pool are now closed for the winter. But the facility’s multi-featured indoor pool and the outdoor hot tub remain open.
Also open year-round are SHARC’s 5,000 square foot event center and outdoor tubing hill. The tubing hill employs an artificial sliding surface that made it a popular attraction during the summer, and ensures winter sliding even without snow.
