Sharon Miller named Bend parade grand marshal
Sharon Miller, formerly the Executive Director of Neighbor Impact, is being honored this year as the 2012 Bend Christmas Parade Grand Marshal.
Ms. Miller has been a Bend resident since 1986 after leaving San Jose, CA. She and her husband Bruce will be riding in the Grand Marshal’s car together.
Barbara Buxton of Bend is the 2012 Deschutes Pioneer Association Queen. Ms. Buxton will also be riding in a designed car during the parade.
The Bend Christmas Parade will begin at 12 noon in downtown Bend on Saturday, December 1 st . Parade goers can get the best view points on Wall Street and as the parade moves along Drake Park. For more information please visit www.bendchristmasparade.com.
