Crook Co. Middle School principal candidates set

The Crook County School District Board of Directors has selected three finalist candidates in the search for a new middle school principal to replace Stacy Smith, who will be moving to the district offices to assume the role of Curriculum and Special Programs Director.

Public meetings will take place on Tuesday (February. 26), Thursday (February 28) and Wednesday (March 4) at 6:30 p.m. at Crook County Middle School. Community members and staff are encouraged to attend and provide the School Board with feedback about the candidates.

Tuesday February 26
Shane Pratt
Principal, West Park Elementary, Hermiston, OR

Thursday February 28
Kurt Sloper
Assistant Principal, Crook County Middle School, Prineville, OR

Monday March 4
Rise’ Hawley
Director of Academics, Jackson County Schools, Jefferson, Georgia
