United Way has some ‘Ski Week’ vouchers left
United Way of Deschutes County is very grateful to be an April beneficiary of the Mt. Bachelor 5th Annual Charity Ski Week Fundraiser. It is not too late for a final run down the mountain. Vouchers can be utilized for the remainder of this business week, and United Way has 30 tickets remaining.
This is how it works – Mt. Bachelor provides lift ticket vouchers to United Way of Deschutes County that are valid April 22 – 26. Skiers pick-up a voucher at United Way, present it at the mountain along with $25, and enjoy some fun hours of Spring skiing or snowboarding. Mt. Bachelor contributes 100% of the proceeds back to the United Way organization.
For a short time vouchers can still be reserved by calling the United Way office at 541-389-6507. The organization has only 30 vouchers remaining. United Way is in the county offices located at 1130 NW Harriman, Suite A, in the Mike Maier Building, which is downtown Bend, just behind the Deschutes County Courthouse. The office is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.
This season’s Charity Week beneficiary partners include eight area non-profits. These participating organizations are The Environmental Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The United Way, MBSEF, Oregon Adaptive Sports, Sparrow Clubs, the Boys and Girls Club and new addition Heart of Oregon Corps.
