Bend holding Reed Market Rd. open house

The City of Bend is holding a public information meeting to discuss the impacts of
upcoming road construction for phase one of Reed Market Road: Newberry Drive to
27th Avenue.

Details about construction staging, temporary road closures and detours, as well as progress on the General Obligation Bond Program, will be provided.

In May 2011, Bend voters passed a General Obligation (G.O.) Bond measure for
street improvements throughout the city. This allowed the City of Bend to issue up to $30 million to upgrade several major street corridors and intersections. Three
roundabout projects were completed last year.
