2 pot-bellied pigs found wandering in DRW

KTVZ

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is seeking leads to find the owners of two pot-bellied pigs found wandering at large earlier this week in the Deschutes River Woods subdivision.

An area check was done after the pigs were found Tuesday afternoon, but no one has claimed ownership, deputies said Thursday.

The pigs are generally black and tan in color and of an unknown age, although they are probably a year or so old, deputies said.

Anyone with information as to a possible owner is asked to call the dispatch non-emergency line at 541-693-6911.

The reference case number is 13-105093. Those calling with a claim of ownership will be asked for additional descriptive details.

Deputies said they had confirmed the pigs were not among those a 4-H youngster recently lost elsewhere in Bend.
