Balloons Over Bend seeks volunteers

KTVZ

For 25 years, Saving Grace has hosted their annual summer Children’s Festival. This will be the 3 rd annual Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival benefiting Saving Grace at Riverbend Park, a collaboration of the Saving Grace Children’s Festival & Balloons Over Bend.

The RBC Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival presented by PacificSource is the largest family festival in Central Oregon, and one of the most beautiful events Bend offers. The festival brings families, visitors and businesses together in a community celebration that has something for every generation and demographic to enjoy. It offers a great opportunity to promote healthy relationships and enjoy time together as a family.

Volunteers are needed for the event on July 20 th and 21 st . The festival runs from 10-5pm on Saturday and 10-2pm on Sunday. These days are split into shifts for volunteers. If you’re interested in signing up for a shift please contact Christina at 541-382-9227 or christina@saving-grace.org .

Also, if your group/business would like to host a kid’s activity booth at the festival, there is still availability. It’s free to host a booth; Saving Grace just asks that you provide your own materials and volunteers. If you’re interested please contact Lauren for more information at lauren@saving-grace.org.

The RBC Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival is a fundraiser for Saving Grace. Saving Grace provides comprehensive family abuse and sexual assault services and promotes the value of life without violence.

Saving Grace would like to thank the 2013 Children’s Festival Sponsors- St. Charles Health System, Les Schwab, American Licorice, Mid- Oregon Credit Union, Moonlight Printing & Mailing and Bend Garbage & Recycling. Also, thank you to the Title Sponsor, RBC Wealth Management and Pacific Source, the Presenting Sponsor. For more information visit www.saving-grace.org and be sure to find us on facebook & twitter!
