Bend Parks and Rec buys land near Senior Center
On Thursday, June 13th, the Bend Park and Recreation District completed the purchase of a 4 acre parcel of land located on the corner of SE 15th and Reed Market Road, adjacent to the Bend Senior Center.
The land allows for the Bend Senior Center’s future expansion, as well as a second egress into Larkspur Park off of 15th Street.
With an objective of increasing southeast Bend park lands, this is the first fully executed land purchase for projects pledged in the November 2012 bond measure.
