Bend Veterans Day Parade seeks entries
The Veterans Day Parade of Bend is seeking veterans, schools, bands, businesses and individuals for the Nov. 11 parade, which will be at 11 a.m. in downtown Bend.
Participants must register at a planning meeting Sept.30 or Oct. 21, the last chance for officials to accept new parade entrants.
Both meetings will begin at 6 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1643, 1503 N.E. Fourth St., Bend. Registration is free.
The organizations is also seeking tax-deductible donations to produce the parade.
