‘Run or Dye’ 5K in Redmond seeks volunteers
This weekend, Run or Dye Central Oregon will draw thousands of participants to the Deschutes County Fairgrounds to celebrate the vibrancy of being alive – all while being blasted with more than five tons of color dye powder during a 5K run/walk. Culminating with a “Color Festival” at the end of the race, there will be no shortage of fun – or color – throughout the day.
Volunteers are needed all day on Friday for packet pickup and Saturday from 7am – 1pm for this event. Run or Dye has partnered with the Redmond Parks Foundation as a charity partner and they will make a donation to the Redmond Parks Foundation for every volunteer who signs up and puts RPF in the charity ID box.
The Redmond Parks Foundation is a non-profit foundation that provides financial assistance for parks, trails and scholarships for recreation programs for both the Redmond Area Park and Recreation District and the City of Redmond Parks Department.
If you are interested in volunteering and helping the Redmond Parks Foundation please sign up as a volunteer at http://www.runordye.com/volunteer. Choose the Central Oregon Location and please type RPF in the non-profit reference ID box when you are registering as a volunteer.
