Dogs playing fetch with plastic toys in Deschutes can add to river pollution
A Bend resident offers one solution and says it's better for dog owners to use sticks for their dogs to play fetch with, instead of plastic toys. He said Sunday he made that decision when he threw a rubber ball in the water for his dog to fetch. The problem was, his dog never went after it.
