KTVZ

The first two stages of the Reed Market Road project in Bend will be substantially complete and open to traffic by Saturday, weather permitting, the city said Thursday.

Construction this season included the completion of Reed Market Road from Newberry Drive to Orion Avenue. The city thanked residents for their patience and understanding during the process.

Construction will resume early in 2014 for the third stage of the project.

Reed Market Road will be closed from Orion Avenue to 27 th Street. The temporary, signed detour route for Reed Market Road through traffic will be re-established utilizing SE 15th Street, NE Bear Creek Road, SE 27 th Street and SE Ferguson Road.

The work is being performed by local contractor Jack Robinson & Sons.
