Redmond Kiwanis seeks Sam Johnson Park donations
The Kiwanis Club of Redmond is making a public appeal for donations to its Sam Johnson Park renovation project.
Partnering with the City of Redmond and the club’s foundation, Kiwanians need to raise $236,000 to fund the $700,000 project.
If funding or pledges are in place by May 31, construction will begin on the totally accessible project in September. To make a donation, go to the project website, www.samjohnsonpark.com.
Kiwanians began construction of the new park in 1987 and joined with the city on the renovation planning in 2012. For further information contact Gary Ollerenshaw at 541-480-0100.
