Known for its mountain peaks, tall pines, and clear rivers, over 1700 people call the City of La Pine home. With its bounding growth and opportunity, the time is now for the official launch of the long-awaited new City of La Pine interactive website.
The goal of the new site is to engage citizens and city leaders and explore the new frontier of cityhood.
With initiatives underway to attract bigger businesses and forge economic development for the community as a whole, the new website will be a meeting-ground for residents and the business community alike.
The site boasts easy navigation and an accessible source to community news and events. The enhanced site provides real-time and current content to assist in keeping citizens informed on the latest happenings.

Rick Allen, La Pine City Manager, said, “Our goal for the new responsive website is to reinforce the sense of community in La Pine; a place where residents, visitors, and the city can communicate information on utilities, events, city economics and ordinances, etc.”
“The site will showcase our community for future business development and entice visitors to travel and vacation in the area,” added Allen.
