New Family Access Network board member

Family Access Network Foundation (FAN) announces that Victoria Malendoski has accepted a position on the Foundation Board. The mission of the Family Access Network is to improve lives by ensuring all children in Deschutes County have access to basic-need services.

Victoria Malendoski is a Sr. Mortgage Specialist for Directors Mortgage. She was born in New Zealand and has lived in Bend for over 18 years. After graduating from Otago University in Dunedin New Zealand she worked and traveled before ending up in Bend where she became the Director of High Cascade Snowboard Camp.

These days she still loves to snowboard with her husband and kids.Victoria has attended the FAN luncheon for the last couple of years and was inspired by seeing for herself what a helping hand can do for our kids.”I am very excited and honored to join this amazing group of professional people!”

FAN began in January 1993 and currently employs 26 advocates in 46 public schools (K-12) and three early childhood sites. FAN strives to improve lives by ensuring all children in Deschutes County have access to basic-need services. FAN is unique to Deschutes County, utilizing advocates to efficiently reach and connect disadvantaged children and families with basic needs, such as food, shelter, clothing, and health care.
