Bend PD boosting holiday DUII patrols

The Bend Police Department will be enhancing patrol efforts during the holiday season. These patrols will be primarily focused on impaired drivers.

The Bend Police Department has observed an increase in alcohol- and drug-related incidents, to include DUII, around past holiday seasons. It is the mission of the Bend Police Department to keep roadways safe so that everyone can enjoy the holidays.

Please remember to designate sober drivers or call for alternative rides after the consumption of alcohol. Driving impaired can be costly in many ways.

If you suspect an impaired driver, don’t hesitate to make a report by calling dispatch. Consider “911” or 541-693-6911 depending on the severity of the incident.
