Baney speaks to Oregon Business Summit

Deschutes County Commissioner Tammy Baney was invited to be a featured speaker at the 12 th Annual Leadership Summit of the Oregon Business Plan at the Portland Convention Center last week.

She was honored to present to the over 1100 Oregon business leaders and elected officials on behalf of the Oregon Transportation Commission.

In her talk, Commissioner Baney emphasized the importance of being proactive and investing in today’s current infrastructure, rather than waiting and paying devastating future infrastructure prices. She also explained the results of immediate action-greatly benefiting the recovering Oregon economy.
