Redmond church plans ‘Shoes for Kids’ drive

KTVZ

The Mission and Children’s Teams at Redmond’s Community Presbyterian Church will hold their annual “Shoes for Kids Drive” during the month of February. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Family Access Network (FAN).

Last year, the group raised over 285 pairs of shoes and this year have set a goal of 300!

Persons interested in donating new or gently used athletic shoes are welcome to drop them off at the Church Office at 529 W 19 th Street in Redmond, Oregon.

FAN has reported that they have 400 students in the Redmond School District considered homeless and will distribute the shoes as needed. There is a deep necessity for shoes, clothing and hygienic materials.
