Family Access Network receives $7,500 grant
The Family Access Network Foundation (FAN) has received a generous $7,500 donation from the Bill Healy Foundation to help connect families to basic-need services at John Tuck Elementary School in Redmond.
The funds will go directly to serve our most needy population, children whose families struggle to meet essential needs such as food, shelter, health care, clothing, and more.
“We are grateful for the generous support from The Bill Healy Foundation. These grant fundswill allow FAN to help more families in Redmond so their children can be ready to learn and thrive in school,” said Brooke Garcia, FAN Board Chair.
The Bill Healy Foundation is committed to responsible grant making through thoughtful choices. We recognize the fragile interdependence between the environment and human beings. The foundation has chosen two points of focus:
Environmental Conservation
We support stewardship, education and sustainable solutions focused on preservation, appreciation and respect for the world around us.
Well Being of Children
The children are our future. We have an opportunity and a responsibility to offer support, understanding, and guidance that gives them educated, informed and compassionate choices for a better quality and appreciation of life.
