Knopp asks constituents to help choose 2016 agenda
Looking forward to the 2016 Oregon Legislative Session, Senator Tim Knopp remains focused on serving his constituents and representing their interests. Senator Knopp is committed to finding proven solutions to create jobs, strengthen Oregon’s economy and expand educational opportunities for students.
“Whether it’s training for family-wage jobs to foster economic growth in business, protecting parental involvement in education, reforming Oregon’s tax code, or providing benefits to those who serve in the Oregon National Guard, the Oregon Legislature plans to handle many policy issues during the February 2016 legislative session,” said Senator Knopp.
“Hearing from the citizens of Senate District 27 allows me to take the challenges they face to the Capitol and represent their interests.”
Each Senator is limited to two legislative bill drafts for the 35-day 2016 legislative session.
“I believe that the two bill drafts I have the opportunity to introduce in February belong to my constituents,” explained Knopp. “I have outlined 12 legislative concepts on my website that constituents can respond to in a short survey, and I hope to get as much input as possible before the start of session.”
The online survey will be available until November 3, 2015. To register your opinions with Senator Knopp, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DH5DT53.
