A runaway juvenile also was located.

A total of 11 ounces of marijuana was seized as a result of the multi-day operation, Chambers said. That is over one-half pound of marijuana taken away from juveniles and those under 21 years of age.
The Street Crimes Unit was started several years ago with a grant award from the U.S. Department of Justice but is no longer funded by a grant. The unit is an extra-duty assignment for Redmond officers and detectives, focusing on quality of life crimes to include: drug users, drug endangered children, low-level drug sellers and the property and person crimes associated with drug use and sales.
