Bend plans public info meeting on 27th St. sewer project

The public is invited to an informational open house for the 27 th Street Sewer Line Project. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mountain View High School Cafeteria, 2755 NE 27 th St. in Bend.

Sewer line construction is expected to start in spring 2016 and be finished in late 2017. Work to rebuild 27 th Street will be completed in 2018. Staff will be on hand at the open house to discuss the project schedule, construction staging, detour routes and to answer any questions.

The 27 th Street Sewer Line is part of the Southeast Interceptor Project (SEI). The SEI is a multi-purpose infrastructure addition to the City’s sewer collection system that will providerelief to capacity issues in southwest, southeast, northeast, and central areas of Bend. There are several segments of design and construction necessary to complete this sewer infrastructure improvement project.
