KTVZ

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday and continuing through the day, Revere Avenue will be closed at the railroad tracks between Division Street and Northeast Lytle Street, Bend officials said.

The BNSF railroad company will be replacing the tracks at the Revere crossing, they said.

Marked detours will be in place for east and westbound traffic on Revere. Schedules are subject to change due to weather and other factors.

ODOT said the closure will occur during the hours of 8am – 4pm.

Motorists are advised that the US97-Revere Avenue northbound and southbound exit ramps will be affected by the closure at the railroad tracks, and the signals at this location will be placed in the flashing red mode.

Travelers are urged to make alternative plans to avoid congestion in the area.
