KTVZ

Bethlehem Inn announced Tuesday that The Collins Foundation is offering to matchall donations from new donors and increased donations from current donors up to $10,000. These gifts must be received by the Inn no later thanAugust 15.

This match grant funding will support the Inn’s program providing shelter, meals and case management services to adults and children experiencing homelessness in Central Oregon.

“We are very excited about this endorsement from The Collins Foundation, who provides so much in support of our community,” stated Gwenn Wysling, executive director.

This challenge grant will leverage each donation from new donors. And it will match increased gifts from current donors i.e. a donor whose last gift to the Inn was $25 should consider an increased gift of $50 to be eligible for this challenge.

“Having a donor’s money doubled as a result of The Collins Foundation is a great investment for donors, residents and our community!” Wysling said.

Bethlehem Inn provided shelter, food and support to 846 individuals and children last year; over 72,000 meals were provided to Inn residents. Another 953 food boxes were provided to exiting residents and non-residents.
